"With the humans, I see them hedge around each other, very nervously at first and don't seem like they want to mess up a balance they've gained. Or, sometimes, someone comes on much too strong and then there's hurt feelings and negative emotions on both sides. That can be dangerous." He frowns, not liking those implications.

"We have small villages for the most part. If something like that were to happen, it would effect everyone. There are no secrets. That can cause a lot of pain..." He remembers the stories of his mother having a secret mate and all of the trouble that had caused, finally ending with his birth and her death.
