Asato was glad that the day had dawned clear and not too cold and there didn't seem to be a storm coming. All in all, a good day to spend outside.

The Ribika gathered up his tools for the day, taking care not to tangle the netting, and stowed it all in a shoulder bag before going to meet with Neville. The greenhouse wasn't a far walk and, remembering his manners, he knocked before opening the door.

So, fishing trip for Neville and Asato.

"Thank you." Asato is very prepared whenever he leaves the hut. Coming from the kind of world he does, being prepared means life or death in most cases. Still, a simple fishing trip means he's not armed to the teeth and only has some of the basics for cooking with him.

Still, Neville using magic does help quite a bit.

Neville's magic might help if they need to defend themselves as well, but fortunately, the dangers that tend to lurk in the forest don't seem to bother them at the lake.

Neville's stomach rumbles in anticipation of a fresh meal.

The cat is also pleased that nothing's come to bother them so far. He'd protect Neville if he had to though.

While their food is cooking, Asato glances out over the lake. "Usually, when I would fish back home, I did so in a river. The netting was used for just the lakes since there were things in them that would hunt in deeper water."

It's good to have friends to fight with, if needed. Even if both seem to be enjoying the relative peace of the Mansion.

"Is there a river or creek on the grounds at all?" Neville asks, thinking he should explore deeper into the forest. Not alone, of course, especially not given the information Caranthir shared with him regarding the wolves and the creature called Morgoth. He wonders if the deep water creatures in Asato's world are so vicious. "What kinds of things?" he asks as well.

Asato nods. "There's one small river I've seen, though everything I've noticed is that it seems to flow from and back to the lake here." He leans over and picks up a stick, using it to draw a simple figure in the sand beside the blanket they're sharing.

"The beasts are varied, but the largest monster in the lakes can swallow a Ribika whole without needing to even chew." The creature he draws resembles something almost like the Loch Ness Monster, though without fins and many teeth.

"Oy.," Neville murmurs much as he'd heard Fred and George do many times, studying the details.
